History of Operation Red Nose
Operation Red Nose was created in 1984 in Quebec as a private service to raise funds through donations from sponsors and clients, while providing a valuable service to impaired motorists by offering a new way to get them and their vehicle home.
ORN has developed into a very successful public advocacy program against drunk driving through its expansion across Canada and in a number of European communities. It is community driven and supported: we are limited only by the amount of people that volunteer. For more on the organization, please visit Operation Red Nose’s national website.
