ORN Ottawa's Strategic Plan!
ORN Ottawa helps the community in the following ways:
- Promotes awareness and alternatives. Wider awareness of the problem of drinking and driving, higher during the holidays.
- Is an alternative. ORN is establishing itself as an alternative to driving impaired (whether drunk, sick, tired).
- Source of community involvement and social responsibility. More volunteers with more vehicles, means a higher service capacity, thereby, further reducing the number of impaired drivers on the roads, making Ottawa safer during the holiday season.
- Generates charitable donations for the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa. ORN is free but will accept donations. ALL proceeds go directly to the charity. BCGO offers 4500 children and youth in the Ottawa community a safe, supportive place where they can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop skills for life...visit the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa website
